The Path of Spiritual Development & Gnosis

The Sacred Mystery Traditions from both Western and Eastern Esotericism have guarded numerous techniques, disciplines. and systems of practice that have empowered individuals to tap into their subtle bodies, supersensible states of consciousness, and latent spiritual potential. The sacred mystery traditions have protected the secret esoteric techniques for countless centuries, only allowing access to this knowledge to those unique individuals that successfully underwent a regime of rigorous training, moral development, and spiritual initiation.  Consequently, only initiates of these Esoteric Mystery Schools have known about these spiritual techniques, the occult philosophies underpinning them, and the Hidden Laws of Nature enabling their safe, and effective usage. 

Today this is still largely the case, however, during the late 19th and early 20th century there were several individuals, such as H.P. Blavatsky, Rudolf Steiner, or Dion Fortune, who peered ahead into the future and saw the coming dangers of scientific materialism along with humanity's hardening of spirit. Thus, they decided to publicly release some of this long sequestered and secret knowledge in an effort to stem the tide of materialistic descent and offer the coming generations a chance to awaken their hidden, inner spiritual potential and stay on the path of Spiritual Evolution set down in Occult Cosmology. They saw the rise of Transhumanism and its devolutionary path for the human races, so they released what information they could to great self-sacrifice for themselves by doing so.
