Catastrophism: Earth cycles of disaster

The notion of cyclical disasters by regular Cometary flybys of our terrestrial sphere, refers to a theory whereby the Great Comets existing in our solar system orbit exceptionally close to Earth having frequently transpired throughout known history as well as before it.  However, though a common occurrence, this stellar event is one often associated with attendant planetary calamities, societal fracturing, and geological upheavals. This is referred to as Catastrophism.

The geological chaos includes earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, weather anomalies, and agricultural droughts or floods. Furthermore, this proposition is stipulated upon the pre-modern renderings of such events including the Great Comet of 1556, 1687, 1811, and 1861. Mainstream science does not currently acknowledge the correlating evidence. 

The premise based on possible celestial flybys from planetary objects is one in which close gravitational encounters with an object essentially generate massive geological and geomagnetic disruptions to terrestrial forces maintaining the biosphere to effectually propagate and foster life safely. 

Such events might possibly be systemic to regular solar orbits by Planets in the Oort Cloud or Kieper Belt. If one such object simply orbited into the Oort or Kieper zone it could potentially fling comets and asteroids into a terrestrial trajectory which would then impact Earth, and there are several University studies that delve into this scenario occurring in the past and theorize this scenario of cyclical disasters impacting earth.  This is another form of Catastrophism.

in Catastrophism, the concept of a Pole Shift is one involving a geomagnetic perturbation within the Electromagnetic field of the Earth which causes either a total flip of the magnetic poles or a drift in the poles (or a pole) followed by a snap[ing back into place of the poles. Both cause enormous geological changes upon the earth's surface resulting in cyclical disasters. Both such drastic events do not occur with often, yet the frequency is about half a million years for total shifts and every 12,000 years for polar drifts. 

The evidence for such shifts is ingrained within the glacial records of antiquity and also apparent in the Mid-Atlantic Ridge's volcanic layering of the ocean floor. The shifts are consistent and continuous in our geological history and align with the theory of Catastrophism.

The concept of Coronal Mass Ejections is stipulated upon the fact that our Sun's dynamic celestial cycles boil over with solar energy on a specific area of its external surface (the corona) experiencing strong solar activity and then expel this overflow in a sudden burst of electromagnetic and radioactive plasma creating cyclical disasters on earth.

This explosion of plasma particulates rife with harmful radiation is then thrust into the surrounding solar winds and travels away from the Sun towards unsuspecting planets and stellar objects. If one of these solar expulsions reach our terrestrial atmosphere, numerous injurious scenarios can occur including damage to DNA, atmospheric weather patterns, and technology as well as potentially effecting geological spikes in activity. This is another example of Catastrophism theory.

In Catastrophism, the conception of a Grand Solar Minimum is one where an extreme shift in the life generating Solar Cycle transpires inducing the Sun to experience a huge reduction in activity and vitality for a period of time potentially being dozens, hundreds, or thousands of years. 

The attenuation of dynamic Solar activity could occur in conjunction with one several magnetic fields of the Sun diminishing to the extent of deactivating entirely for a duration. Once this happens, the Earth would experience an exaggerated cooling period leading to lengthy stagnation of photosynthesis, curtailment of mammalian propagation, chaotic weather, and stifled societal expansion.  This would reoccur as cyclical disasters in earth's geological timeline obviously effecting human development and civilizational progress. 

The conception of Stellar, Cosmic, or Galactic rays is one in which there is an ingress or influx of high-energy protons and atomic nuclei into our solar system traveling at near the speed of light that once reaching the terrestrial biosphere can potentially penetrate through our atmosphere and reach the surface causing cyclical disasters on earth.

 If they do bypass our atmospheric defenses, they can produce a showering of secondary particles upon the earth's surface which then cause a plethora of harmful effects on lifeforms such as enormously heightened levels of radiation, explosions of plasma lightning, heavy damage to electronics, intensely chaotic climate fluctuations, and the production of unstable isotopes in the atmosphere. Some of these terrestrial repercussions from the Cosmic Rays have led to the idea that they can produce mass extinction level scenarios and have been studied for this reason within Catastrophism theories.

The theory and underlying stipulations of Earth Crust Displacement posit a devastating history of cyclical disasters in relation to the earth's tectonic plate integrity becoming unstable before rapidly sliding into different positions after becoming detached from heating up within the mantle. 

Essentially, the occurrence is comprised of several geological phases: the mantle being of semi-liquidity, yet also partially solid, heats up enough for its slight solidity to completely liquefy: once the mantle becomes entirely viscous the crust which is attached to it separates from it: once detached from the mantle the crust with its tectonic plates is capable of rapidly sliding along the earth's exterior causing enormous geological repercussions for the duration of its unstable plasticity and fluidity. This Catastrophism theory was conceived by Charles Hapgood and acknowledged as possible by Einstein. 

The Legend of Atlantis and its postulated fateful destruction has perpetually stimulated the imagination of Humanity since ancient antiquity and lived on into the modern era remaining mysterious, alluring, and historically divisive,

The story of Atlantis was first extrapolated by the Esoteric Sage Plato in his work "The Republic" where he explained in detail that is seemingly quite historical in nature, though not accepted as such by mainstream academia, with his rendition including its origins story, geographic placement and makeup, political and societal structure, cultural achievements, concentric circles of aqueducts for agriculture, famous imperial wars, and the final decay of its civilization and eventful downfall from cyclical disasters of a tectonic nature.  

The scenario presented is also a partial allegory for the spiritual nature of man in relation to the divine endowments purportedly latent and sleeping inside his material body and one relating to his eventual spiritual regeneration. Catastrophism explores Atlantean geological explanations. 

The ancient legends which surround the notion of a Lemurian continent, and its prehistoric civilization involve the idea that the oceanic region between Indonesia and Hawaii housed a lost, forgotten landmass eventually sunk due to cyclical disasters, tectonic displacement, meteoric impacts, volcanic eruptions, or massive earthquakes. Within Catastrophism, Lemuria remains an enigma and topic of study.

Geological studies have generated some data which would lead one to believe such a lost continent could have once existed in this region of the Pacific Ocean. Furthermore, there are submerged ruins of seemingly high sophistication residing in the oceanic depths of this region along with correlative tales from various cultures still inhabiting the islands and landmasses between the area of interest for a possibly lost continent. 

Lastly, this lost continent is often geologically linked to the fall of the Atlantean continent and hypothesized as disappearing during the same cyclical disasters that befell Atlantis.

There exists the alternative historical idea that the highly sophisticated, geometrical masterpieces of the Giza Pyramid complex and the enigmatic Sphinx were not constructed during the era stipulated by modern Egyptologists being in fact built by an older Predynastic culture residing in this region of the world during antediluvian (pre-flood) times before the last ice age 12,000 years ago. It would have ceased to exist due to cyclical disasters.

This radical hypothesis was generated by the alternative geologists and historians Robert Bauvall, Graham Hancock, Robert Schoch, and John Anthony West. Their divisive premise rests upon new evidence relating to anomalous water weathering patterns discovered on the Egyptian Sphinx, unusual stellar alignments inherent to the layout of the Giza Pyramid complex, and the nearly impossible megalithic construction of the Giza Pyramid being highly untenable in regard to the level of building prowess attributed to the dynastic cultures alleged to have constructed it.

Around the world exist exorbitant amounts of physical remnants attributed to highly sophisticated human civilizations in antiquity scarcely able to be reconciled with current historical paradigms, knowledge of physics and geometry, understanding of astronomy, and availability of natural resources stipulated as allowed by the mainstream academics. Catastrophism is typically utilized as a theoretical basis for the lack of definitive evidence regarding their nature.

 Due to a complete lack of unbiased observation and cultural context, the mainstream perspective has disallowed itself to imagine our ancestors as anything but ignorant people that used slave labor for such grand constructions and achievements. Unfortunately, cyclical disasters have obscured the nature and origins of these magnificent edifices. 

The cultural abilities of these civilizations are exhibited in such structures as the Giza Pyramid, Puma Puku, Teotihuacan, the Sphinx, Pharos Lighthouse, Easter Island, Stonehenge, Gobleki Tepe, Tiwanaku, and numerous others. The idea that these primitives used slave labor to erect stonework comprised of enormous slabs weighing in excess of dozens of tons seems absolutely ludicrous without also attributing much greater technologies or knowledge of the sciences to those peoples. 

It has been discovered by numerous historians of the alternative type that our ancestors in antiquity had a holistic and acute understanding of what has been titled the Great Year Cycle or the Precession of the Equinoxes. This meta cycle is one that only occurs over an enormously extended period of time and in fact takes roughly 25, 920 years for its full duration. 

It is in essence a cycle of Zodiacal nature with each of various Zodiac configurations presiding over a time period of roughly 2000 years before transitioning into the next Zodiacal phase. This obviously must occur 12 times before completion of a Great Year and if studied intensely over several thousands of years can lead to the discovery of the Earth's Wobble. 

However, such advanced and by necessity continuous astronomical observation is difficult to imagine for supposedly uncivilized ancient cultures to achieve.  Which therefore stipulates the idea that these cultures must have been more advanced and stable than mainstream academia has envisioned. Lastly, this ability to continuously map out astronomical calculations requires at least several thousand years of mapping and observation could only occur in unified, enduring, and balanced civilizations.

Universally across all or nearly all continents is found the construction of pyramidal temples which were established around the same time period remaining a highly unusual phenomena of our shared historical narrative. 

Though this ubiquitous structural manifestation has been discovered to be culturally significant and correlative in nature, the corresponding idea that this exhibits a potential global cross-cultural fertilization has been dismissed by mainstream academia with their stipulation that this is impossible and must have occurred simply due to spontaneous structural evolution within the human psyche.  

In contradistinction to this accepted idea, there has been espousal of the notion that actually there did exist a worldwide culture which decided to convert to this pyramidal schematic for building temples. The evidence is overwhelming for this cross-fertilization of ideas and is further based on other similarities existent within the cultural frameworks of the civilizations of this era such as universal myths of bearded white men encountering various cultures at this time as well as developments in different areas of societal life.

 Moreover, these cultures are related to Catastrophism and cyclical disasters of historical significance.
